Thoughts of Eleanor

I started making a different card, but it just wasn't turning out the way I anticipated. So I made some adjustments and came up with this.
Stampin' Up! Supplies: Stamps - Everything Eleanor, Thoughts and Prayers; Paper - Always Artichoke, Very Vanilla; Ink - Always Artichoke, Elegant Eggplant, Ribbon - Always Artichoke Seam Binding, Chantilly 1/2" Crochet (both ret.); Jewels - Rhinestones

For The Golf Pro

I'm really excited about this card. I've been in a women's golf clinic this summer, and we have been having a great time. The other evening, after our lesson, we discussed having a final event at the end of the clinic. With that, us ladies also decided to collect a few dollars a get a gift card for our golf pro instructor. Of course, I then offered to make a thank you card for the gift card. After looking at several other designs for inspiration, I came up with this one.
Stampin' Up! Supplies: Stamps - Lovely as a Tree; Paper - Garden Green, Whisper White, Real Red DSP (ret.); Ink - Always Artichoke, Basic Black, Crumb Cake, Garden Green, Marina Mist, Sahara Sand (dimples on the ball), Soft Sky;

I used a brayer for the grass and mountains, and sponging for the lake and sky. For the hole on the green, I punched a 1/2" circle in some scrap paper, then used it as a template to color it in. For the ball, I added dots (1/16" apart) on scrap paper, then punched a 3/8" circle. The flag pole was just drawn in with a straight edge.

Quatrefancy Madness

This is a very versatile layout. I used it last year to make some of my Christmas cards. For this card, I got to use both sides of a piece of DSP.
Supplies: Stamps - Mosaic Madness; Paper - Island Indigo, Whisper White, Quatrefancy DSP; Ink - Island Indigo; Embossing Folder - Modern Mosaic; Punch - Mosaic; Jewels - Pearls

Grateful Garden

Thank God for what you have. Trust God for what you need. This is one of several stamps from SU!'s Trust God stamp set. Hiding behind the card is a coordinating envelope.
Supplies: Stamps - Trust God; Paper - Island Indigo, Melon Mambo, Whisper White, Gingham Garden DSP; Ink - Island Indigo; Punch - Curly Label

Timeless Birthday

Don't you just love playing with new stamps? Figuring out different layouts? That's what I did with this one. I saw another design I really liked, but I don't have all the punches I need. Yet! So, I had to settle for some fussy cutting (a mindless task that I enjoy).
Supplies: Stamps - Timeless Talk; Paper - Basic Black, Whisper White, Coastal Cabana DSP; Ink - Basic Black, Coastal Cabana; Ribbon - 1/4" Satin Pool Party; Jewels - Pearls

Fabulous Medley

Another easy card. I love this flower from Fabulous Florets. It is so easy to hand cut, it doesn't even seem like "fussy cutting."
Supplies: Stamps - Fabulous Florets; Paper - Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Modern Medley DSP; Eyelet Border punch, Pearls

Stitched Silhouette

Torn paper for masking and a brayer, stamped image and some faux stitching. That's all you need for a quick card.
Supplies: Stamp - Pocket Silhouettes (ret.); Paper - Basic Black, Whisper White; Ink - Always Artichoke, Basic Black, Old Olive, Pear Pizzazz, Soft Sky; for the stitching, I pierced the paper then used the Basic Black Stampin' Write to create the "stitches."

Medley of Flowers

Isn't this pretty? I saw a similar one at Splitcoaststampers, using non-Stampin' Up! products. So, of course, I did my best to create one using my SU! supplies. I really like the bright color contrast to the black and vanilla.
Supplies: Paper - Basic Black, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Pacific Point, Real Red, Tangerine Tango, Very Vanilla, and Modern Medley DSP; Brads - coordinating colors; Punches - 7/8" Scallop Circle, Bird Builder.

Lovely Lakeside

This card started out very different than what you see. In fact, it came very close to just being tossed. Then, I added a twist to the original layout, and removed that "not quite right" portion, and come up with this.
Supplies: Stamps - Lovely as a Tree, Watercolor Winter; Paper - Basic Black, Whisper White; Ink - Always Artichoke, Crumb Cake, Island Artichoke, Old Olive, Pear Pizzazz, Pool Party, Soft Sky, Soft Suede

More Fun With Mosaics

I'm really having fun playing with the mosaic pattern. With this card I'm using Sycamore Street DSP, Mosaic Madness stamp with the coordinating Mosaic punch, and the Modern Mosaic embossing folder. I pulled everything together using Island Indigo and Whisper White.

Fancy Mosaic

The most difficult part of this card was deciding which side of the DSP to use.
Supplies: Paper - Gumball Green, Whisper White, In Color 2012-14 DSP; Embossing Folder - Fancy Fan; Jewels - Pearls, Rhinestone; Punch - Mosaic

Fruity Medallions

With names like Crisp Cantaloupe, Pear Pizzazz and Strawberry Slush, what else could I call this post? I found the color combination at The Paper Players Color Challenge. This is the first time I've used the stamp set, and I'm really happy with the way the stamps and Framelits work together.
Supplies: Stamps - Daydream Medallions; Paper - Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White; Ink - Crisp Cantaloupe, Pear Pizzazz, Strawberry Slush; Framelits - Floral Frames Collection; Ribbon - Whisper White Satin; Jewels - Pearls

Bermuda Bay Madness

I'm at it again - CASEing someone else's work. Another Stampin' Up! demonstrator made a card very much like this one. So, of course, I had to try out the style. Although it took a lot of stamping and punching, the process was very fast. Also, because I didn't have any Bermuda Bay cardstock, I stamped a large circle of ink on Whisper White cardstock, then punched out the little flowers.

Supplies: Stamps - Mosaic Madness; Paper - Whisper White; Ink - Bermuda Bay; Punches - Mosaic, Itty Bitty Shapes (small flower); Jewels - Pearls, Rhinestones; Embossing Folder - Modern Mosaic

Let's Go Sailing

Most of the pieces of this card are retired, but I wanted to make a masculine card and this DSP called to me. I had fun putting all the pieces together, both the front and the inside.

Supplies: Stamp - Perfectly Penned (inside (not retired)); Paper - Not Quite Navy; Nautical Expedition DSP; Ink - Not Quite Navy; Brad - Designer Circle

(Inside)

Brown Sugar with Champagne

I CASEd this card, but have no idea who created it. I really like the monochromatic look and that only some of the corners are rounded.
Supplies: Paper - Brown Sugar, Whisper White, 2013-15 In Color DSP; Accessories - Fancy Fan embossing folder, Corner punch, Elegant Butterfly punch, Secret Garden framelit, Champagne Mist paint (ret.), Pearls

Summertime Butterflies

I guess I'm in a butterfly kind of mood. I'm combining a couple of challenges, and a technique I found at Julie's Japes. The two challenge blogs I'm using are: Addicted to CAS (Summertime), and Dynamic Duos (Daffodil Delight and Strawberry Slush color combo).
Supplies: Stamps - Papillon Potpourri; Paper - Daffodil Delight, Strawberry Slush, Whisper White, Beyond the Garden DSP (ret.); Ink - Strawberry Slush; Accessories - Satin Stitched ribbon, Pearls, Rhinestones

Super Simple Butterflies

I found a card similar to this one, created by another Stampin' Up! demonstrator, and decided to create one for myself. I used three of the new, 2013-15 In Colors and Designer Series Paper. Her design used solid colors, mostly, with an embossed design on the paper. I switched it up a bit and created this design.
Supplies: Paper - 2013-15 In Color and In Color DSP - Crisp Cantaloupe, Coastal Cabana, Strawberry Slush; Punches - Bitty and Elegant Butterfly; Jewels - Rhinestones

Lakeside Serenity

I love making landscape scenes. Playing with different layouts and designs. I started this one with a scrap of Whisper White that was long and narrow (2-1/4" x 6"). I cut it down to size and played from there.
Supplies: Stamp - Serene Silhouettes; Paper- Marina Mist, Pear Pizzazz, River Rock, Whisper White; Ink - Always Artichoke, Lucky Limeade, Marina Mist, Pear Pizzazz, Soft Sky; Punch - Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border
